Kelsey holds a M.S. in bioinformatics from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a bachelor’s degree in genetics from the University of Georgia. John Jernigan is currently Chief of the Epidemiology Research and Innovations Branch of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)’s Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion (DHQP). He is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases.
